Wow!!!  Man it has been forever since I wrote on here.  Almost a year!

Damn Gina, here we go with old times.  Well, first off, I am in Hawai'i for a little bit for the summer and then I gotta go back to Junction for my job training.  I got this really cool job at SkyWest Airlines.  It is a regional carrier that services the United States.  It is partners with United Airlines and Delta Airlines.  I have to go to training either in L.A. or Salt Lake City.  I really want to go to L.A. so I can meet up with my ex-girlfriend Shizuka.  She used to go to Mesa State last year, but graduated while I was still a freshman.  I miss her a lot.  She really wants me to go to L.A. too.  Hopefully we'll meet up...who knows?

School was not too bad this year...I got a 2.41 my fall semester and a 2.78 the spring semester.  I didn't do as well as I wanted to but I surprisingly did okay.  Considering that I was taking care of our Ho'ike show for the Polynesian Club.  This coming year is going to be off the hook.  It will be really awesome.  Me and my mom are making the hair pieces already, and the leis, and we are also getting the costumes all taken care of already as well.  I'm really excited about this year.  Hopefully we'll get more dancers this year boys and girls.  That'll be pretty tight!!!

Good news, I got permission from my Kumu to open up a Halau up there on the mainland.  I also had the privilege of him naming it for me.  He named it Halau Hula 'O Na Mele Kolea.  The Kolea is a shore bird that flies many miles in between seasons to a foreign lands, but always returns home to nurture their young ones.  Man, when I heard that, I loved it!!!  I was excited as nuts!  But anyway...

Okay it's getting late and I still want to comment on some peoples xanga site so I'll try to update more often kay?!?

Aloha

what up guys,

thanks everyone for your encouragement, I really appriciate everyone's support.  Just to let you know that everything is doing much better and that I did resign from the Cultural Diversity Center but it was for the good.  I am going to try to work at another place on campus.  Well just got back from Vegas!!!!  Was awesome!!!  I had a blast over there.  We went to the Fright dome at Circus Circus where there was 5 Haunted Houses plus a roller coaster, a water ride, a human freak show, and choke more stuff.  I won Clifford the dog!!!  It was awesome.  Okay guys, I'm watching a movie right now so I goin go watch...shoots!!!

Peace y'all!!!

Whassup guys,

Man, it's been a long time since I wrote in here.  All I got to say is that I miss Hawai'i soooo bad.  I'm not homesick or anything, but I'm just sick of stupid stuff up here in Colorado.  I've lost a lot of friends because of this stupid Cultural Diversity Center job.  The job is not stupid but the people that I work with...especially Bree (2 faced bitch who has no heart, conceded, stuck up, and UGLY overall...Facially, and Personality wise).  I cannot stand her!!!  I've been so exhausted, stressed, I've lost friends, depressed a lot, and just in general not happy.  Well, I've talked to my mom, and I've gotten advice from some of my co-workers and I've decided to resign from office.  I don't want to but my health & sanity depends on it.  Hope y'all are doing great!!!

Aloha No

Whassup guys!!!

Well good news!  I'm back in Colorado and I'm going to school!!!  I got a chance to live off campus and Aunty Tina from Financial Aid got me a $2000 grant from pell.  Pretty sweet huh?  Anywayz, I got a place of my own.  It's on 12th and Belford St.  It's a pretty sweet crib.  I have the master bedroom, my own bathroom, and a walk in closet.  The house has 3 other rooms each with their own bathroom, and the people that I live with (which is nobody at the moment) we share the kitchen and living room.  It's absolutely BRAND SPANKIN' NEW!!!  I get to move in on Monday and it's $375/month including ALL UTILITIES!!!  Now that's what I call a sweet deal.  Hopefully everything will be cool.  I'll update later guys gotta go.

Peace out!!!

What up y'all!

Man..oh man..oh man..why does this always happen to us, well not ALWAYS but 2x this year it happened.  First Kanoe and then Sonya.  Man what a great Miss Teen USA pageant it was this year.  I thought the contestants were a whole lot prettier this year than last year (with the exception of a few)...I didn't really care for the entertainment but other than that everything was "g".  Okay well here it goes with my take on this year's pageant.

Here were my choices for the...TOP 15 (in random order)

Hawai'i, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California, Tennessee, New Jersey, Indiana, Nevada, Missouri, Idaho, Georgia, Wyoming, Massachusettes, and Louisiana.

I didn't do too shabby on my picks...I got 9 out of the 15.  HI, TX, TN, NJ, NV, MO, AL, GA, and LA.  The actual top 15 were these 9 plus Maryland/MD, Minnesota/MN, Nebraska/NE, New York/NY, North Dakota/ND, and South Carolina/SC.

After the evening gown competition which I thought was super HOT except for a couple, these were my choices for the top 10.  Everyone except for ND, SC, MD, AL, and TX.  Man, I was stoked cause I only missed 2 ladies.  Big Surprise though.  I didn't think Alabama was going to make it through.  Neither Maryland.  My favorites so far was Hawai'i, Louisiana, and Nevada.  But hey...oh well.

Next the swimsuit competition.  Man was it a swimsuit competition!!!!  Everyone was really really hot!!!  Even AL, and MD who I thought was not that good in Evening Gown.  My favorites was again HI, LA, NV, and NE.

After all that, Here were my choices for the top 5.  HI, TN, LA, NV, and NE.  It was my closest EVER for top 5.  The only one I missed in this one was Maryland who TOTALLY suprised me.  I did not think that she was going to make it that far...Honestly.

Anyway...It got down to the final five and after hearing all the answers, and considering ALL parts of the competition, here were my runners up and Miss Teen USA 2004.

                                  My Prediction                        Actual Results

4th r.up                             TN                                         TN

3rd r.up                            MD                                        MD

2nd r.up                            NV                                        NV

1st r.up                              LA                                         HI

Miss Teen USA 2004        HI                                          LA

Congrats to the new Miss TEEN USA Shelly Hennig and of course Sonya Balmores Miss Hawai'i TEEN USA who almost made the crown and the second Miss Hawai'i TEEN USA to make 1st runner up since 1983.  (secretly, I hope that Shelly CANNOT fulfill her duties so that Sonya can take over the crown )  Nah...but that would be kinda cool.  What an eventful year this year.  Now it's up to Olena to break it in for us at Miss America in September.

Aloha
